E-JuriBD is a legal information assistant for the laws of Bangladesh, together with a workspace for advocates. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Your legal questions are sent to a third-party AI service (Google Gemini) to be answered against our corpus of Bangladeshi statutes. Do not include information you would not want processed by such a service — in particular, avoid identifying details about other people.
If you are an advocate using the chamber workspace, the client, case and hearing records you enter are visible only to members of your own chamber. We do not use them to train anything and we do not share them between chambers.
Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your bKash PIN, card number or OTP. We keep a record of what was purchased, when, and for how much, because we are required to be able to account for it.
You can delete your account from inside the app, under Settings → Account → Delete account. Doing so permanently destroys your chats, your practice data, your profile and anything else that identifies you, and signs you out of every device. Records of payments are kept in anonymised form because we must be able to account for money received; they can no longer be connected to you.
Hearing reminders are scheduled on your own device. You can turn them off at any time in Settings.
E-JuriBD is not intended for children.
If this policy changes materially we will say so in the app. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
